Robert F. (Bob) Unger – Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Unger has over 35 years’ experience in the oil and gas business. Before forming Excalibur Resources, his recent positions included President of Energy Production Corp., COO of Hyperion/Aethon Oil and Gas LLC, and SVP of JM Huber Corp.’s Northern Business Unit. Previously, Bob spent 27 years with Marathon Oil Company in progressively more responsible engineering and managerial assignments. He has overseen operations in most producing basins in the US as well as Calgary and Aberdeen, Scotland. His last assignments with Marathon were six years as Business Unit Leader for the Permian Basin Unit and six years as Leader, Northern (Mid-Con. and Rockies) Business Unit. He holds a BS degree of Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and attended the Penn State Executive Management Program. He is or has held membership/leadership positions in the Society of Petroleum Engineers, IPAA, OIPA, OERB, IPAMS, PBPA, NMOGA, and PAW.



Craig E. Young – Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Young has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.  Prior to joining Excalibur, he served as EVP and COO of Elevation Resources where he managed a horizontal drilling program in the Barnett Shale.  Previously, Mr. Young held senior level management positions with major companies, large independents, and startup companies in the Permian Basin, Gulf Coast, Rocky Mountains, Alaska, West Africa, Barnett, Central Texas, and South Texas areas.  Notable experience includes over nine years with EOG Resources, where he ran Eagle Ford operations managing 26 drilling rigs, seven full-time frac crews, and over 100,000 Boepd of production with a capital budget in excess of two billion dollars, and he was intricately involved in EOG’s development of the Barnett Shale.  Prior to EOG, he served 13 years with Marathon Oil Company where he helped develop drilling and completion technology utilized today in the most successful shale plays.  Mr. Young holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University.  He also developed a patented process in horizontal completions.



Henry Moomaw – Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Excalibur Resources, LLC, Mr. Moomaw served as the Chief Accounting Officer/Chief Financial Officer for TEAK Midstream from 2011 to July 2013, and led the company’s efforts in obtaining a $160 million line of credit with a syndicate of banks and in the company’s sale in May 2013 for $1 billion. From 1999 to 2011, he served as VP Controller at Animal Health International, where he led the accounting efforts in support of the company’s IPO in 2007 and the company’s sales processes in 2004 and 2011.  From 1996 to 1998, he served as the Controller at Fibreboard Corporation, where he accounted for the company’s numerous acquisitions and divestitures. From 1993 to 1996, he served as the Assistant Controller at Hadson Energy, where he managed all of the company’s public and bank reporting.  From 1988 to 1993, he served as a senior financial analyst at Electronic Data Systems (EDS). He started his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen.  Mr. Moomaw holds a BBA in Accounting from Southern Methodist University and is a CPA in the State of Texas with over 25 years of experience in financial management.



Kimberly Stevens – Vice President Geology

Prior to joining Excalibur Resources, LLC, Ms. Stevens served as VP of Geology at HighMark Energy, where she initiated & coordinated a proprietary basin modeling project within the Anadarko Basin that led the team to acreage acquisition in the STACK play.  Ms. Stevens held various positions with ExxonMobil, Encana Oil & Gas, and Hunt Oil Company.   With over 20 years of exploration & development experience across multiple basins and play types.   Ms. Stevens identified and evaluated opportunities in the West Africa Transform Margin, Permian, East Texas, South Texas, North Louisiana, San Joaquin, San Juan, and Anadarko Basins, as well as entry into international unconventional plays (Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, Yemen, New Zealand, and Colombia).  She has led and contributed to multiple research projects in understanding storage and flow within tight oil & gas reservoirs (Bossier, Haynesville, TMS, Eagelbine, Eagleford/Buda, Muskwa).


James S. Blair – Vice President of Business Development

In 2011, Mr. Blair became Managing Director of PLS, Inc. in Houston to advise international companies on entries into North American gas properties. He crafted a $600MM entry for Toyota Tsusho (Japan) into a Canadian joint venture with EnCana in Calgary. He held senior management positions with three public companies from 1988 to 2010, first at Toreador Royalty Corp, followed by Gothic Energy in Tulsa (merged into Chesapeake) and then at PetroQuest Energy in Houston. Mr. Blair’s 33 year career began with Tenneco Oil Company in Houston in corporate acquisitions until the sale of the company in 1988. Mr. Blair holds a BA from the University of Virginia and a MBA from the University of Georgia.


Robert L. Bolton Vice President Land

Prior to joining Excalibur Resources, LLC, Mr. Bolton most recently served as Land Manager of the Anadarko District with Chesapeake Energy. While at Chesapeake, Mr. Bolton served various roles including  Senior Negotiator, and Manager of Acquisitions and Divestitures, all in the Oklahoma City area.  Prior to Chesapeake, Mr. Bolton served as Land Manager for Chaparral Energy, Inc., from 1989 to 2000, developing and establishing the Land, Legal, Division Order and Lease Records departments. Mr. Bolton began his 35-year career as a Lease Broker/Manager with Nick Oil and Gas Leasing in 1979 in Oklahoma City.  Mr. Bolton holds a BS from Southern Nazarene University, and is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen in addition to multiple landman associations in the State of Oklahoma.
